Compensation:
Clinicians at Horizon begin with a generous fee-split structure while building their caseload. Once you reach a full-time schedule (22 sessions per week), you’ll have the option to either:
Transition to a salaried position with base pay of $65,000+, DOE. Salaried employees will also receive:
4 weeks’ PTO
Quarterly Performance Bonuses
Professional Development Funds; or
Continue the fee-split model if you prefer the flexibility and earning potential it provides.
We value our clinicians’ autonomy and provide the freedom to choose the compensation model that best aligns with their professional goals and financial preferences once a full caseload is reached.

Work Schedule: Clinicians have a flexible, hybrid schedule
Caseload: Clinicians maintain a full caseload of 22 weekly sessions, with flexibility in how you build your schedule to balance in-person and telehealth appointments.

Provisionally Licensed Therapist - FULL TIME

Provisionally licensed (PLPC or LMSW) in the State of Missouri, or in the process of obtaining licensure

Supervision & Professional Growth
At least 1 hour of weekly individual supervision (no cost to you)

Referrals provided through Cigna, Aetna, UHC Community, and private-pay clients

Pay Range: $50,000-$70,000 per year, plus benefits

Responsibilities
Provide safe, effective, and compassionate therapy services in line with HTAS’s values
Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethical decision-making in all client and team interactions
Attend weekly supervision and group consultation meetings
Maintain timely documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards
Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and external providers to support client care
Engage in networking, outreach, and continued professional learning
Contribute creatively to the practice through writing, workshops, or community involvement
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
Current PLPC or LMSW in Missouri (or license-eligible within 60 days)
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries
Openness to feedback, supervision, and ongoing learning
Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive care
Ability to manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 22 clients per week
