Group Therapy at Horizon…..
We believe that healing happens in relationships
There is something powerful about being in a room with people who simply get it. Group therapy offers a different kind of support. It gives you a place to feel seen, to practice new skills, to connect with others who are navigating similar challenges, and to discover that you are not as alone as you sometimes feel.
Some realizations are only possible when you witness them reflected in others. Group therapy can help you understand yourself more clearly, build confidence in your voice, and find meaningful support through shared experience.
Is group therapy right for me?
• You want deeper connection with others who understand your struggles
• You want to practice new skills in a supportive environment
• You feel isolated or tired of pretending everything is fine
• You want a safe place to explore relationships and patterns in real time
• You are looking for healing that includes community and not just self reliance
Groups are not about performing or impressing anyone. They are about showing up honestly, learning from one another, and growing together.
What makes our groups different
Our groups are small, guided by skilled therapists, and built on mutual respect. We focus on psychological safety, authenticity, and the belief that everyone has wisdom to offer. You set your pace. You choose what you share. You will be encouraged, not pressured.
Current and rotating group offerings
We offer groups throughout the year based on community needs and interest. Not all groups are active at the same time. When you reach out, we can share what is currently enrolling or add you to an interest list.
Groups we offer include…..
• Designing Your Life Group for finding direction and purpose
• Neurodivergent Adults Support Group for connection and self advocacy
• Adolescent Boys Support Group for emotional growth and identity support
• Adolescent Girls Support Group for confidence and healthy relationships
• Coparenting Stress Support Group for navigating high conflict family dynamics
• Boundary Setting Skills Group for self respect and clear communication
If you are drawn to a specific group, we can talk with you about availability and next steps.
What to expect
The first step is a brief conversation with a therapist to make sure the group you are interested in is a comfortable and appropriate fit. From there, you will know what to expect on the first day and how to prepare. You are always welcome to ask questions
You do not have to do this alone
Connection helps us heal. When you join a group, you gain community and you also become part of someone else’s support system. Your presence matters. Your story matters. Growth is something we create together.
If you are curious about group therapy, reach out and we will help you explore the right fit for your needs.
